Privacy Policy — Proof Dog Training

Effective: August 23, 2026

The short version

Proof stores everything on your phone and sends nothing anywhere. We couldn't look at your data if we wanted to — the app has no servers, no accounts, no analytics, and no network code.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter — your dogs' names and profiles, skill assessments, and training session records — is stored in a local database on your device only. It never leaves your phone unless you explicitly use the Export feature, which hands the data to you as a file to share or save wherever you choose.

What we collect

Nothing. Proof contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters that phone home, no tracking of any kind, and requires no account or sign-in.

Purchases

The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's own privacy policy. Purchase restoration is likewise Apple-to-device.

Data deletion

Deleting the app deletes all its data, because the device is the only place the data exists. There is nothing to request deletion of on any server.

Children

Proof does not knowingly collect data from anyone, children included — it collects no data at all.

Changes

If a future version ever adds an online feature (for example, optional household sync), this policy will be updated first, and any such feature will be opt-in.
