Privacy Policy — Proof Dog Training

The short version
Proof stores your training records on your own devices. If you use the Apple Watch companion, your iPhone and Watch exchange the information needed for training. We operate no accounts, analytics or servers that receive your training data.
What the app stores, and where
Your dogs' names and profiles, skill assessments, session records and saved media are stored locally on your iPhone. The Apple Watch companion receives dog and plan information, including the selected language, through Apple's WatchConnectivity. It stores unfinished sessions and queued records locally on the Watch, and sends completed records to your iPhone when a connection is available.
Export lets you save or share a copy of your records to a destination you choose. Exported files and device backups may be stored elsewhere according to the services and settings you use. Photos and videos are not included in the app's JSON backup.
What we collect
In the app: nothing. Proof contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporters that phone home, no tracking of any kind, and requires no account or sign-in. Training information stays on your own devices, apart from exports and backups you choose to make.
On this website: these marketing pages carry the Meta pixel, which tells Meta that a browser visited proofdogtraining.com so we can measure and target advertising. It records the page you viewed, your IP address, browser and device details, and the Meta cookies already in your browser. It is on this site only — it is not in the app, and it never sees anything the app stores. Meta’s handling of it is covered by Meta’s privacy policy. Blocking third-party scripts or cookies in your browser stops it, and nothing on this site needs it to work.
Your choice about the pixel: in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland it does not load until you accept it. You are asked on your first visit, and nothing reaches Meta before you answer — not even the script itself. Everywhere else it loads when you arrive, because prior consent is not required there. Either way the decision is yours to change at any time: . Turning it off applies from your next page load, since a script already running cannot be recalled.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is covered by Apple's own privacy policy. Purchase restoration is likewise Apple-to-device.
Data deletion
Deleting the app removes its local data from that device. Copies on your paired Watch, exported files and device backups must be managed separately. Deleting the iPhone app does not erase those other copies. We hold no server copy of your training records and cannot recover them for you.
Children
Proof does not knowingly collect data from anyone, children included — it collects no data at all.
Changes
If a future version ever adds an online feature (for example, optional household sync), this policy will be updated first, and any such feature will be opt-in.
