Terms of Use — Proof Dog Training
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Accepting these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Proof Dog Training, Sofia, Bulgaria ("we", "us"), the publisher of the Proof app. By downloading or using Proof on iPhone or Apple Watch you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Proof on Apple devices you own or control, for training your own dogs. Everything else stays ours — the app, its text, its 41 skill protocols and its artwork.
You may not copy, sell, rent, sub-licence or redistribute the app or its training content, reverse engineer or decompile it, strip out its notices, or work around any technical restriction in it — except where the law says you may do so whatever this agreement says.
Purchases
Proof has one price: a one-time purchase of $24.99 that unlocks the app for every dog in your household. There is no subscription, no recurring charge and no auto-renewal — nothing will ever bill you again.
That purchase is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple takes the payment, keeps your payment details and issues the receipt; we never see your card. Restoring your purchase on another device is handled by Apple too, through the same Apple Account. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, not by us — we can't grant or refuse one on Apple's behalf, though you're welcome to write to us and we'll help where we can.
Not professional advice
Proof is a training logbook and planner, not a trainer, a behaviourist or a vet. Its protocols are general guidance, drafted pending review by a credentialed trainer, and they cannot account for your particular dog. Nothing in the app is veterinary or behavioural advice.
Dogs are animals and training carries risk. If your dog shows aggression, fear, pain or any sudden change in behaviour, stop and consult a qualified professional. You remain responsible for your dog, for anyone around it, and for training it safely and lawfully.
Acceptable use
Use Proof lawfully and humanely. Don't use it alongside methods that harm or frighten an animal, don't use it to break local laws on dogs or public spaces, and don't interfere with the app or with Apple's services.
Your data and your records
Your dogs, assessments and session records live on your own device — see the Privacy Policy. Because we hold no copy, backups are your responsibility: use the Export feature or your own device backup. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device; Watch data, exported files and backups must be managed separately. We cannot recover your records for you.
Availability
We may change, add to, or discontinue the app or any of its features, and we may stop supporting older versions of iOS or watchOS. We'll try to give reasonable notice where a change matters, but we don't promise the app will always be available or uninterrupted.
Disclaimer of warranties
Proof is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or error-free operation. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer under Bulgarian or EU law that can't be excluded by agreement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, for lost training records, or for any injury or damage arising from training, from your dog's behaviour, or from a decision you made using the app. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us for the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app changes. The current version always lives at this address with the date at the top, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, and disputes will be dealt with by the competent Bulgarian courts. If you're a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country.
